The Sand Dollar Restuarant was built in 1921 in Tiburon as three barges. The Barges were floated into Stinson Beach and fused together to form the historic restaurant you can come visit today. Our friendly staff is a tight knit team that emphasize the idea of a public house offering great service and delicious cuisine. Our fans and patrons are an eclectic group of guests ranging from local fire fighters that enjoy a great meal after drill to national politicians that visit the coast and favor our restaurant.
The Sand Dollar is a family owned restaurant and is Stinson beach’s oldest established and continously running restaurant. The Temer family bought the restaurant in 2000 and has continued the tradition while making improvements to the patio and interior enhancing both the exterior of the restaurant and interior decor.
Come in and enjoy great dining, friendly guests, locals and live music. Our entertainment ranges from Bluegrass on Sundays to Jazz weekdays from noon -3pm. and 5:30-8:30 nightly.
